Philmont Training Center offers a variety of weeklong conferences for council, district and unit Scouting volunteers.

Any registered Scouting volunteer can attend classes at PTC as long as that person has completed the basic training for the leadership position held.  Registration is via the MyScouting link at www.myscouting.org.  In prior years, participants needed to obtain an invitation from the local council, but that is no longer the case.  If you wish further information about courses at PTC, please contact either Dale Sawyer, the GAD Training Chair, Fritz Maxwell, the previously GAD Training Chair, or Jeff Hutchinson, the District Director.
